Samsun Grand Prix, one of the legs of IJF (International Judo Federation) World Judo Tour continued today (2 April) in Samsun’s Tekkeköy Yaşar Doğu Sports Hall. Turkey’s Hasan Vanlıoğlu won bronze medal on the second day of the tournament. Turkish judoka defeated Alonso Wong from Peru, Azerbaijani Fagan Guluzada and Italian Antonio Esposito in the preliminary round matches but lost to Polish Damian Szwarnowiecki in the semi-final. Hasan Vanlıoğlu defeated Greek Georgios Azoidis in the 3rd place match and won the bronze medal. Polish Damian Szwarnowiecki won the gold, Chol Gwang Kim from Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea won silver and Portuguese Nuno Saraivawon the other bronze medalat this weight category.
