On the second day of the Lausanne 2020 Winter Youth Olympic Games, our athletes competed in alpine skiing, biathlon, ice hockey and curling.
Our curling team bounced back from their defeat to Norway with a 5-1 victory against Great Britain 5-1 in their second match of the groups.
In alpine skiing, Derin Berkin finished the slalom race with 36.87 degrees in combined slalom, and the super-g race with 1: 02.61 degree and a total of 1: 39.48 with 34 degrees.
In biathlon, Mine Kılıç ranked 61st in the 10km individual final with a 40: 39.4 rating whilst Barış Oduncu came 97th in the 12.5km final with 52: 47.4.
In Ice Hockey Men's Mixed NOC 3-on-3, the Black Team, which features Kerem Aslan, was defeated 12-9 by Red Team before defeating Blue Team 14-8.
Ziya Efe Güçlü's Blue Team lost 12-1 against Orange Team and later lost by 14-8 against Black Team.
Our curling mixed team consisting of Şafak Çalıkuşu, Berfin Özer, Selahattin Eser and Kadir Polat defeated Great Britain 5-1 in their second match of the groups.
