Olympic Day Activities
As the International Olympic Committee (IOC) was established by Baron Pierre de Coubertin at Sorbonne University on 23 June 1884, an Olympic Day is organized by the Olympic Committees all over the world on its anniversary since 1987. Olympic Day activities aim to spread the enthusiasm that sports bring to people’s lives and to promote sports to lead a healthier and peaceful life.
