The General Assembly elects five full and three alternate members to serve in the Registry Board for four years. Members with a minimum ten year tenure in the Association are required to complete written applications at least five days prior to the General Assembly date.
Board members elect among themselves a President, Vice President and a Reporter at a meeting within one week of the completion of the election. The Registry Board holds an ordinary meeting upon the call of its President at least twice a month. It also convenes for extraordinary meetings when necessary.
The responsibilities and authorities of the Registry Board are as follows:
- Keeping records of its members, furnishing documents required by legislation and providing information to the Board of Directors for legal actions that need to be taken as per the records.
- Presenting a report to the General Assembly with an action plan and recommendations for the work period.
- Drafting the operating procedures and principles of the Registry Board.
